John Toussaint Bernard (March 6, 1893 – August 6, 1983) was a United States Representative from Minnesota.
, President of Donna Cona Inc. and Sierra Systems Partner, on being awarded the National Aboriginal Achievement Award in Business and Commerce. Mr. Bernard is one of 14 award winners being honoured at the presentations Friday, March 10 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre The Queen Elizabeth Theatre is a performing arts venue in downtown Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Along with the Orpheum and the Vancouver Playhouse, it is one of three facilities operated by the Vancouver Civic Theatres Department. .

In 1996, Mr. Bernard, a member of New Brunswick's Madawaska Maliseet First Nations community, created Donna Cona, an Aboriginal information technology company. In 1999 Sierra Systems acquired a 49% interest in Donna Cona. This new partnership gives a strong national presence to Donna Cona, and increased opportunities and capabilities to Sierra Systems. "Our relationship with Donna Cona broadens our scope and markets across Canada Across Canada was an afternoon program that formerly aired on The Weather Network. The segment ran from early 1999 until mid 2002. This award recognizes Mr. Bernard's achievements earned through many years of successful contributions to the business and Aboriginal communities. Past recipients of this award include Grand Chief Phil Fontaine Larry Phillip (Phil) Fontaine, OM, (born September 20, 1944) is an Aboriginal Canadian leader. He is currently serving his third term as National Chief of the Assembly of First Nations. , Dorothy Grant, The Honourable Madame Justice Rose Toodick Boyko and Senator Charlie Watt Charlie Watt (born June 29 1944) is a Canadian Senator.

A hunter and businessman by profession, Watt is an Inuk and has served as Northern officer with the Department of Indian and Northern Affairs from 1969 to 1979 and founded the Northern Quebec Inuit Association
. Recently, Mr. Bernard personally established a renewable scholarship fund at Trent University for Aboriginal students enrolled in its Computer Studies program.
