Sierra Fellers: "i'm through being nice".

Sierra Fellers Sierra Fellers (born December 30, 1986) is a professional skateboarder (as of early 2007) currently skating for Foundation Skateboards, Venture Trucks, C1RCA Footwear, FKD Bearings, Nixon Watches, and CCS. Sierra is also a devout Christian. , where are you from?

I was born in Whitefish whitefish: see salmon.
whitefish

, MT. Next to Canada.

So you're petty much Canadian?

Far from it.

What is Montana called? Big Sky Country or something?

Actually I'm in the Flathead Valley.

What's an average day like there?

Depends on if it's summer or winter. If it's summer, it's usually too hot to skate, so I'll go jump in a creek or something. Go jump off some dirt cliffs. Call some friends, eat, pretty much do random nothings until three or four in the morning.

So where does skating come into all of this?

When I come to California.

Not much skating back home.

Not really. There's a couple good skateparks popping up that I might go to on the weekends. Sometimes I wake up before noon, and I'll go to the parks then because there's nobody there.

How did you get into skating?

I got into skating from my older brother, when I was about seven years old. Like any other kid, I wanted to be like my older brother. He taught me how to ollie Ollie may refer to the following:
  • Shortened form of the given name Oliver
  • Ollie (skateboarding trick), the skateboarding trick invented by Alan "Ollie" Gelfand
  • Ollie Impossible, a variant of the trick first performed by Rodney Mullen
and boardslide and all that crap, and it just kind of built from there.

Does he still skate?

Yeah, he does.

How old is he?

He's 31 as of May 16th.

And you're how old?

Nineteen. And I have an older sister who is 28.

Your first video part is coming out--or have you had any video parts previous to this?

I've had a couple local, random video parts. I had a part in Through Being Nice, a local Kansas City Kansas City, two adjacent cities of the same name, one (1990 pop. 149,767), seat of Wyandotte co., NE Kansas (inc. 1859), the other (1990 pop. 435,146), Clay, Jackson, and Platte counties, NW Mo. (inc. 1850). , MO video, a couple years back. And when I was 13, I had a video part in a local Florida video called All of a Sudden.

Were you travelling to Kansas City frequently?

My brother and his wife, and my sister and niece live in Kansas City. I'm actually going there again in a couple months.

Are you done with your part?

Yeah.

Done being nice?

I'm through being nice. It's overrated Overrated was a Horde World of Warcraft guild, based on the US Black Dragonflight Realm. On November 2 2006, the majority of the guild members were indefinitely banned from the game for use of (or directly benefiting from) a third-party "wall-hack", used to bypass content .

You've been doing the contests for a while.

Since I was nine.

Just local contests? Did you ever win?

I won my first contest when I was nine. I get hyped on contests. They're fun; I like all the skaters hanging around.

Do you get hyped on tours and demos, too?

Yeah. I get psyched on demos.

What else do you like or dislike?

I dislike mushrooms. And onions.

What about the drug mushrooms?

Nope.

Everything else is good?

Yeah, I'm pretty much psyched on everything.

How much time would it take to do the perfect feathered hair Feathered hair was a hairstyle popular in the 1970s and the early 1980s with men and women, the hair was grown long on both sides (normally covering the ears, although it could be shoulder length) unlayered (although some men with curly hair did have it layered) with either a side ? Flock of Seagulls, the whole kit?

Mine? Get awake, get out the shower, let it dry. Forty-five minutes, I guess.

There's no teasing teasing

the act of parading a male before a female to see if she displays estrus, and is therefore in a state where mating is likely to be fertile.
 or crimping?

Maybe just run my fingers through it a couple times, and it's a wrap.

You used to perform when you were younger. Tell us about the travelling road show.

It was a team called GX International, which stood for Gen X See generation X.  or something. It's basically a group of skateboarders, bikers, rollerbladers, dancers--breakdancers ...

What's the difference between dancing and breakdancing?

There's choreographed dancing, and then there's breakdancing, which is like in a circle. They battle each other. So, the show was kind of like a circus. My brother was the leader of this whole group, like the tour manager. It was a Christian organization, so we'd go through the churches, and they'd find us homes to stay in. I've been on trips where there were 10 people, and some trips there would be like 40.

How was the tail on these trips?

The tail? Meaning the ass? Girls are rad.

What's a wild story?

A bunch of the skaters and the guys who did tech for the show would go on these ninja missions, throwing stuff from the roofs at the security guards, running up behind them and hitting them on the head and then bouncing.

Did you have ninja shoes on?

I wish we had ninja shoes on. Just normal shoes, Circas.

Can a man be a true Christian and a real party animal?

It depends on the kind of partying. I don't think you can ever lose your salvation once you've let Jesus into your heart. Like it says in the Bible, He loves you and will always be there for you.

Did you have a posse of guys back home in Montana?

Most of my good friends didn't skate, so I didn't hang out with too many skaters; you'd just skate with them at the park. The people I hung out with were buddies I'd grown up with before skating.

If you had to make a choice, would you go Puka-shell necklace necklace: see jewelry.  or the hemp-bead necklace?

I had a bone necklace. I think, when I was 11, I had a hemp hemp, common name for a tall annual herb (Cannabis sativa) of the family Cannabinaceae, native to Asia but now widespread because of its formerly large-scale cultivation for the bast fiber (also called hemp) and for the drugs it yields.  necklace.

Is there any such thing as a white Rasta?

What is that, a guy with dreads dreads

What one thing would you do to improve United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. . I don't really care.

How many tricks have you landed in a line consecutively?

Man. I remember, because I was really psyched. When I was 14, I think I did 16 or 17 tricks on this rail down a bank. I'd go up, stall on the quarterpipe, go back, hit the rail, go back ...

What was the ender?

Switch front board shove-it. I landed on it and then slipped out. I was bummed.

What words came out of your mouth when that happened?

"Argh!" That's it. Thank God it was over, because my legs were so beat.

Is perma-shotgun really overrated?

Is there such thing as perma-shotgun? I don't think there is. That's the worst thing I've ever heard of. It would be way overrated, unless I'm the one having it, of course.

If you had to kick one person off Circa, who would it be?

Probably Allie, because he's the biggest asshole to me. I was skating this ledge, and I guess everyone was waiting for me to finish some long, drawn-out, wack line. So John's talking to Noun 1. talking to - a lengthy rebuke; "a good lecture was my father's idea of discipline"; "the teacher gave him a talking to"

If you could go back in time and kill a baby Hitler, would you?

If I knew what he'd become? Yeah. Well, I don't know if I could, if he was a baby.

Even if he had the mustache?

I don't think I could.

Describe a dream about skating you've had, One that you've been dying to tell,

Just a couple weeks ago I hit a guy in the head with my board, in a dream.

Why were you kicked off Mystery?

I guess it was just a difference of personalities. They're a really tight team, and I'm really psyched on those guys. But while they'd be out partying I'd be in my room reading a book or watching TK. I did kind of feel like the odd man out; I was only 17.

Were you pissed?

I was pretty bummed, because it was the company that I really saw myself on, but I knew something else would come along. You look at the positive side of things.

I try to.

Let's say, theoretically, you win Tampa Pro. You're at the after party at a karaoke karaoke
