Siemens announces HiPath ComScendo suite. (New Products).

The Enterprise Networks division of Siemens Information and Communication Networks Inc., a subsidiary of Siemens AG, has announced the HiPath ComScendo suite of Internet Protocol (IP) communications applications for the enterprise. The HiPath ComScendo communications suite offers a full set of enterprise-class communication features (such as call forwarding, conferencing, etc.) and call handling. It can scale to meet the needs of small, medium, large and very large enterprises. The HiPath ComScendo suite was designed to offer customers flexibility by allowing them to make their communications systems more modular. The new approach was engineered to give customers the choice of operating system as well as hardware. Hardware independence means that it can be loaded onto either Siemens-optimized hardware or most customer-provided hardware. HiPath ComScendo software supports optiPoint digital and IP telephones, the optiClient 130 soft client and third-party IP telephones and soft clients.
