Siemens Soarian-TM- Software Takes Off; Company Begins Installation at Beta Sites, Other Customers Waiting In The Wings.

Siemens (NYSE:SI) has delivered the first installment of its new generation health information solution Soarian to beta customers Carilion Health System in Roanoke, Va, The Chester County Hospital in West Chester, Pa. and Susquehanna Health System in Williamsport, Pa.

All beta customers plan to implement Soarian after beta testing is complete.

Representatives from these institutions as well as Soarian beta customer Universal Health Services, Inc. will be present at the Siemens booth (No. 1932) at the Annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) Conference and Exposition, January 27-31 in Atlanta, Ga. These customers will also participate in a press event scheduled during the conference January 28 from 2 to 2:30 p.m. in room 363 of the Georgia World Congress Center.
