Siemens Awards Key Component of Sensor Project to AMI DODUCO.

Siemens VDO Automotive, a unit of Siemens AG (NYSE: SI) has awarded AMI DODUCO a contract to develop and produce a hybrid housing for its next generation of mass air flow sensors.

This hybrid housing will consist of a precision-stamped electrical contact part insert-molded into a plastic frame. Air mass sensors help increase fuel efficiency and reduce emissions by precisely monitoring the mixture of fuel and air in automotive engines.
