Siegel provides interesting background and stories about each composer and/ or piece and then plays each piece in its entirety The whole, in contradistinction to a moiety or part only. When land is conveyed to Husband and Wife, they do not take by moieties, but both are seised of the entirety. . Most composers are very well known--Mozart, Beethoven, Chopin, and Liszt, for example--but he also includes lesser or, to many, unknown composers, such as Clementi and Medtner. Siegel has a relaxed and intimate way of sharing information that is pleasant to listen to and enhances the performance of the music. Teens with a musical bent will enjoy this; and those with no background or particular musical talent will find this to be an interesting way of learning about musicians, composing com·pose
