QuadraMed(R) Corporation (QMDC.PK) today announced that Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, D.C. has awarded the Company a contract to install the QuadraMed Affinity(R) Patient Charting module across the facility's Medical-Surgical and Family Care Units and Affinity Patient Charting with Vital Signs Capture in the facility's Intensive Care Unit (ICU).

Affinity Patient Charting with Vital Signs Capture significantly enhances patient safety by interfacing with monitors in the ICU to eliminate the possibility of transcription errors. Captured data is verified and then saved in the facility's centralized Affinity database streamlining the charting process. Affinity Patient Charting is a fully interactive gateway to patients' electronic medical records, which supports clinical pathways, narrative charting, and snapshots of clinical information in a consolidated format. Benefits are realized from both improved patient safety and increased nurse productivity.
