Sibanye Inc. celebrates seven years serving Baltimore residents. (Celebrations).

Seven years ago Sibanye Inc. co-owners Robin Green-Cary and Mary Mary, the mother of Jesus
Mary, in the Bible, mother of Jesus. Christian tradition reckons her the principal saint, naming her variously the Blessed Virgin Mary, Our Lady, and Mother of God (Gr., theotokos). Her name is the Hebrew Miriam.
 Douthit wanted to bring African-American writers This is a list of African American authors and writers, all of whom are considered part of African American literature.

Book tours usually passed through Philadelphia and Washington, D.C., but skipped Baltimore--much to the dismay of local readers. After years of attending literary events and forming relationships with authors, publishers, publicists, editors, book clubs, and booksellers, Green-Cary now brings many of the best African-American writers to Baltimore; and she also sponsors her own literary conference (see Events Corner).

Last year, Green-Cary and Douthit won the 2001 Cathy Hughes Cathy Hughes, born Catherine Elizabeth Woods in Omaha, Nebraska on April 22, 1947, is an African-American entrepreneur, radio and television personality and business executive.  Entrepreneur entrepreneur (än'trəprənûr`) [Fr.,=one who undertakes], person who assumes the organization, management, and risks of a business enterprise.  of the Year Award. Green-Cary, who also participates in the annual Baltimore Book Festival, is a member of the Literary Coalition and serves on the American Booksellers Association's Booksellers Advisory Committee.
