New Products Represent Significant Enhancements to the Company's Utility and Entertainment Product Categories

LAS VEGAS -- Shuffle Master, Inc. (NASDAQ Global Select Market: SHFL) announced today that it will introduce a wide range of new products at this year's Global Gaming Expo being held in Las Vegas, Nevada, November 14-16. Product demonstrations will be available at booth #1831. In addition to displaying well-established products like the Company's Ace([R]) and one2six[TM] automatic card shufflers and its Three Card Poker([R]) and Ultimate Texas Hold'em[TM] proprietary table games, the booth will highlight the Company's newest products including its latest single deck specialty shuffler, several new table games and side bets, and several electronic table game platform enhancements.

Utility Products

World renowned for their exceptional engineering and unparalleled performance, Shuffle Master's Utility Products are designed to increase table game productivity, profitability and security. Featuring a variety of shufflers that can be used for nearly every casino card game, a next-generation roulette chip sorter and several other productivity enhancing devices, the Company's G2E exhibit will highlight the following new products:

* i-Deal[TM]: As Shuffle Master's third generation single deck specialty shuffler, the i-Deal is faster than all other single deck shufflers and features several key enhancements including card recognition technology that reads the rank and suit of each card being dealt. The i-Deal features a low profile design, a built-in discard rack, flush-mount load and unload ports, a programmable multi-game function and the ability to deliver groups of cards rapidly.

* i-Shoe[TM] intelligent shoe: A smart alternative to a traditional shoe, the i-Shoe increases baccarat and blackjack game security by reading the rank and suit of each card being dealt. Unique in its ability to recognize any brand of playing card without requiring special markings, the i-Shoe interfaces with an attractive display to post the outcome of each round.

* Table iD[TM]: Using state-of-the-art image recognition technology, Shuffle Master's i-Shoe[TM] intelligent shoe and proprietary software, Table iD brings a new level of security to busy baccarat blackjack tables by recognizing and tracking player decisions while determining the outcome of each round. It also can capture wagering and payout information for accurate player comping and helps minimize cheating and dealing errors.

Live Table Games and Side Bets

As the gaming industry's fastest growing product segment, specialty table games and side bets represent an important part of the overall casino table game mix. Featuring a variety of poker derivatives available both as live games as well as electronically on its multiple content delivery systems, the booth will also emphasize the following new table games and side bets:

* Three Card Poker Progressive[TM], an exciting enhancement to the industry's most popular specialty table game of all time where players who make an optional $1 progressive side bet can win all or part of a progressive jackpot that pays when they receive three-of-a-kind or higher. The game's top two payouts also trigger "envy bonuses" where all progressive bettors win if anyone at the table receives a premium hand.

* Progressive Fortune Pai Gow Poker[TM], a new twist on pai gow poker that rewards players who make a Fortune bet of at least $5 with potential jackpot winnings of up to 100% of the progressive total. The top hand in the game, a seven-card straight flush, pays 1,000 to 1 and 100% of the progressive jackpot.

* Bad Beat Texas Hold'em[TM], an exciting twist on hold'em that features head-to-head play against the dealer, an optional Trips bonus bet and a Bad Beat bonus that pays if a player loses to the dealer with Quads or higher.

* Hit and Run[TM], an easy to play game where players bet that they will draw more cards than the dealer. Hit and Run's only rule is that each consecutive card must be of equal or higher rank than the previous card - otherwise the player busts. Hit and Run also features a side bet that has a top payout of 30 to 1.

* Hi-Lo Stud Poker[TM], Hi Lo Stud Poker rewards players for getting hands that are really good . . . or really bad. In Hi Lo, players compete against a paytable, not against the dealer or other players. Players win on the high side if their five-card hand is a pair of 10s or better, and win on the low side if they have 10-high or worse.

* Streak Shooter[TM], an optional side bet for craps where players win if the shooter makes at least three points before a seven-out. The more points the shooter makes, the higher the payouts, and if a shooter makes 10 points, the Streak Shooter bet pays the top award and the sequence ends.

* Table Master[TM]: An electronic multiple-player table game with five player stations that enables casinos to offer table game hits like Three Card Poker([R]) and Let It Ride Bonus([R]) at a fraction of the cost of live tables. Table Master nearly doubles the number of hands played per hour and offers greater flexibility in game wager amounts.

* Rapid Table Games([R])

Combining a dealer and a live game with electronic player stations, Rapid Table Games increase game frequency and security by automating all aspects of the wagering process.
