Shrewsbury woman enters 105th year.


SHEWSBURY - Grace H. Osterhout turned 104 years old on July 28.

She is the oldest resident of Shrewsbury Nursing and Rehab Center. Mrs. Osterhout lived in Delmar, N.Y., most of her life before coming to Shrewsbury in 1984. She then lived with her daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Ken Dearden, for 10 years. Upon moving to Shrewsbury, she joined the Shrewsbury Senior Citizens Organization and also became a member of Mount Olivet Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Osterhout has three children, eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
