Show that made the Osbournes.
Within a year of that first episode being aired, the show changed the lives of the family.
Such was the success of the show that Sharon and Ozzy were invited to the White House Correspondents' Dinner, even receiving a mention during George W Bush's speech. Meanwhile, Kelly was launching her music career and Jack was partying hard.
Despite the comedy nature of the show, it didn't shy away form the family's problems, including Sharon's battle against colon cancer.
The problems continued for the family as Jack's constant partying caught up with him and he checked into rehab to receive treatment for marijuana and alcohol abuse. But the treatment worked, with a new slimline Jack getting his own TV series on extreme sports and completing the gruelling Marathon Des Sables in the Sahara Desert.
There was more drama in the third series during a stay in Britain when Ozzy crashed his quad bike, leading to a threeweek spell in hospital and a long period of recovery.
The bad luck continued when Ozzy tackled a burglar who escaped with Sharon's jewellery, then the family had a lucky escape when fire engulfed part of their home.
Kelly was the next to suffer when she was forced to check into rehab after admitting to her parents that her behaviour and illness was the result of drug abuse.
The biggest success from the series has been Sharon's rise to fame. Her role as a judge on the X-Factor has seen her become even more of a household name than her famous husband.
