These new products will be introduced at Networld+Interop Conference and Expo in Las Vegas, May 11 through 13, booth no. 5123. Making its debut is MetroLan(tm), a remote access router A network device used to connect remote sites via private lines or public carriers. The router is required at both ends and provides the protocol conversion between the internal network (LAN) and the external network (WAN). Further complementing the company's product line is the introduction of GlobalView(tm), FastComm's graphical user interface graphical user interface (GUI)

Computer display format that allows the user to select commands, call up files, start programs, and do other routine tasks by using a mouse to point to pictorial symbols (icons) or lists of menu choices on the screen as opposed to having to
(GUI). The comprehensive suite of management tools, alarms and reports will be displayed live at the booth. The GlobalView(tm) GUI resides on all four industry leading platforms including: IBM Tivoli NetView IBM Tivoli NetView is a Monitor Program based on SNMP Protocol, and a part of Tivoli Modules.

This program provide real time monitoring and you can make active test over all servers supported by SNMP.
, HP OpenView, Windows NT and a Java-based web browser version.

The MetroLan(tm) voice/video/data router, being announced at the show, is used for small office/home office See SOHO.  (SOHO Soho (sōhō`, sə–), district of Westminster, London, England, known for its continental restaurants. Once a fashionable quarter, it became popular among writers and artists in the 19th cent. ) environments and compliments the larger, recently announced GlobalStack-EX(tm) central site VoFR/VoIP/Data router. Both the MetroLan(tm) and GlobalStack-EX(tm), break the price barrier against their nearest competitors. Fully loaded, the MetroLan(tm) configured with 3 voice/fax ports and 4 data ports has a suggested retail price of $3,600. The GlobalStack-EX(tm) is priced well under the other leading competitors. This aggressive pricing model is expected to contribute to new market awareness and broaden the customer base with these easy to use, affordable, high speed voice/data products.

A demonstration of FastComm's ChanlComm(R) Multiprotocol Interconnect Controller is available to legacy users of mainframe computers that employ current NCP and AS/400 environments. ChanlComm(R) replaces expensive IBM 37XX front-end processors with the newest technology that offers an alternative, more reliable and inexpensive router-based migration path. At a fraction of IBM's latest prices, the ChanlComm(R) router-based option beat Cisco's alternative by nearly 40%.
