SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 28, 1998--Shomiti Systems today announced an aggressive trade-in program giving corporate end-users and resellers a $2,000 incentive to trade in Network Associates' Distributed Sniffer Systems for Shomiti's network analyzers.

The promotion, which runs through December 31, 1998, rewards customers who trade in Network Associates' analyzers with a $2,000 credit toward the purchase of Shomiti's CMM2 or Explorer products. The CMM2 is an integrated network analyzer and monitor card that can be installed in any of the end-user's network PCs. The Explorer is a self-contained solution that incorporates CMM2 boards in a lightweight chassis, enabling it to be deployed either as a portable system for field service personnel or as a rack-mountable system for in-house use.
