Shipping activity at Port Qasim.

KARACHI, November 10, 2009 (Balochistan Times): Shipping activity remained brisk at the Port where four ships carrying Containers, Project Cargo, Palm oil and Diesel oil were allotted berths at Qasim International Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal, liquid Cargo Terminal and FOTCD Oil Terminal respectively on Monday. According to a Port Qasim report issued on Tuesday two more ships with Containers and Chemicals also got anchored at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during last 24 hours. Higher berth occupancy was reported at the Port at ninety one percent on Monday as against to seventy three percent on previous day where a total of ten ships namely C.V Maersk Montana, C.V CMA CMA - Concert Multithread Architecture from DEC.  CGM (1) (Computer Graphics Metafile) An ISO/IEC standard format for 2D graphics images introduced in 1987. The most common, orthophosphoric acid, H3PO4, is usually simply called phosphoric acid.  and Iron are respectively during last 24 hours. A record cargo handling was achieved at the Port where a cargo volume of 0.119 million tones comprising 0.096 million tones imports and 0.023 million tones exports inclusive of containerized cargo carried in 3,869 Containers (Boxes) was handled during last 24 hours. Three ships M.T Gemini, C.V Maersk Montana and C.V CMA CGM Jamaica sailed out to sea during last 24 hours, while another ship M.T Fortune Victoria is expected to sail on Tuesday. C.V Nedlloyed Europe carrying containers is expected to take berth at Container Terminal-ii on Tuesday. Three Container ships CMA CGM Quartz, ACX ACX Available Chemicals Exchange

 Jasmine and Norasia Balkan are due to arrive at Port Qasim on Wednesday, while two more Container ships New Delhi Express and AI-Sabahia are due to arrive on Friday.
