Shipment of Christmas Trees Headed for U.S. Troops in the Middle East Departs from New York; DHL, U.S. Army Reserve 77th Regional Readiness Command, and Dee's Nursery Make a Special Express Delivery for the Holidays.

WHAT:   A special holiday shipment of Christmas trees, menorahs,
        lights, ornaments and holiday cards bound for U.S. troops
        serving in the Middle East will arrive at John F. Kennedy
        International Airport this Tuesday, December 6th, where it
        will be loaded onto a DHL aircraft for the journey to Bahrain.
        From Bahrain, DHL will deliver the trees to various U.S.
        military camps and facilities in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and
        Bahrain.

        DHL has teamed up with the U.S. Army Reserve 77th Regional
        Readiness Command, Dee's Nursery and a number of local New
        York businesses to donate, coordinate and deliver the
        shipment. This shipment will include a total of 1,000
        Christmas trees, as well as an assortment of menorahs, lights
        and ornaments. The shipment will also include holiday cards
        sent by children from numerous schools in the New York metro
        area.

        Members of the New York Police Department, Nassau County
        Police, Port Authority Police, Lynbrook Police Department,
        and Long Beach Police Department will provide an escort
        for the shipment, from Dee's Nursery in Oceanside to JFK.
        A special send off event including USO performers and a
        special appearance by the Radio City Rockettes will be
        held at DHL's gateway facility at the airport.

        Interview/Photo Opportunities:

           --  Representatives of the 77th Regional Readiness Command,
               along with local business people and DHL personnel
               involved in the initiative, will be available for
               interviews.

           --  There will an opportunity to photograph/shoot the
               shipment as it arrives under escort at the DHL
               facility, as well as while it is being loaded onto the
               aircraft.

        TIME: 11:30 A.M. Eastern Time

WHERE:  John F. Kennedy International Airport
        DHL Gateway - Building 263
        Jamaica, New York 11430

        Park in the main parking lot and check in at Security in
        Building 263.

        Please note, the tree shipment will originate at Dee's Nursery
        located at 69 Atlantic Ave., Oceanside, NY. From there, the
        Christmas tree shipment and escort will take the following
        route to JFK for arrival at 11:30 A.M.:

           --  West on Atlantic Avenue Oceanside
           --  North on Atlantic Avenue East Rockaway
           --  West on Sunrise Highway to North Conduit Ave
               (North Conduit Ave is parallel with Belt Parkway)
           --  Left on to Farmers Blvd
           --  Right on to North Boundary Road
           --  Left on to North Hangar Road to DHL Facility
