Shine On: Turtle Wax(R) and Neil Tjin Team Up to Build the Ultimate 4-Door R34 Nissan Skyline; 1998 R34 Skyline Sedan Turning Heads Across the U.S.

CHICAGO -- In the automotive world, there is one car that stands out head and shoulders above the rest, one that everyone is dying to get their hands on, the 'holy grail' of import cars, the Nissan Skyline. Turtle Wax and Tjin Edition were able to import the only 4-door R34 Skyline Sedan into the U.S., and then handed it over to Neil Tjin and his talented crew for a major overhauling. When Tjin and his crew were finally done with the project, the only thing that remained stock on the Skyline was the roof and the front doors.

The completely rebuilt two-tone BASF green Tjin Edition 1998 R34 Skyline sedan is equipped with everything from a RB26DET 'Godzilla' motor to a custom fabricated air jack set-up, which is incorporated into a one of a kind unique fabrication roll-cage, normally found in F1 race cars. The custom two-tone light green and dark green paint job was done by the crew over at MOB Works in Orange, CA. The Skyline rolls around on a custom set of massive 20x11.5" and 20x13.5" 540 HRE Wheels with astonishing 4" and 5.5" polished lips, dark green centers, and gold bolts. The 540 HRE Wheels are matched up to a set of enormous 285/25/20 and 345/25/20 Pirelli tires.

The fully gutted, stripped and painted interior features a customized dash board, aluminum door panels, center console, Status Kevlar racing seats, DEFI gauges, and a Unique Fabrication chromoly 12 point roll cage, which was painted candy gold. The exterior of the Tjin Edition R34 sedan has been modified with a custom 12 piece wide body kit from URAS Japan. This rare piece of machinery will most definitely be turning the heads of many jealous and top tuners during this year's nationwide Get Waxed Tour.

The one-of-a-kind 1998 R34 Skyline sedan will be the featured piece in the "Get Waxed Tour" as it travels to all the top automotive and lifestyles events across the U.S. "I'm excited for the tour because we have a car that no one else is going to have," said Tjin. "When you show up with a Skyline, people are going to take notice." This year's tour will hit up a larger targeted audience, as Turtle Wax makes its way to a broader range of shows, including stops at Hot Import Nights, Night Shift, Import Showoff Little Tokyo, D1, Formula D and SEMA.
