Tokyo, Japan, Aug 30, 2005 - (JCNN JCNN Japan Corporate News Network ) - Shimadzu Corporation announced on August 29 that it has launched ORFinder-N Mass Sequencing Kit, its proprietary reagent kit for protein analysis, across Japan.

The new kit, which is used in combination with mass spectrometer, can quickly identify the N-terminal amino acid amino acid (əmē`nō), any one of a class of simple organic compounds containing carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen, and in certain cases sulfur. These compounds are the building blocks of proteins.  sequence of proteins.
