Shifting perspective.


I have a feeling Julia would clobber (jargon) clobber - To overwrite, usually unintentionally: "I walked off the end of the array and clobbered the stack."

Game in which two to four players compete in forming words with lettered wooden tiles on a 225-square board. Words spelled out by letters on the tiles interlock like words in a crossword puzzle. Words are scored by adding up the point values of their letters.

I was diagnosed back in 1986. In a way, that day shaped my attitude for the next 15 years. My sister came over to the hospital and kept me laughing by making fun of me. I decided then that I wasn't going to stop enjoying myself.

But, as the old proverb proverb, short statement of wisdom or advice that has passed into general use. More homely than aphorisms, proverbs generally refer to common experience and are often expressed in metaphor, alliteration, or rhyme, e.g.  says: "Man plans; God laughs." I began to have trouble working. The bladder control problems hit. It got to the point where I couldn't even take a warm day. I had to quit my job and spent as much time in hospitals and nursing homes as I did out.

My wife also has MS. It's not much better than mine. I pray I beg; I request; I entreat you; - used in asking a question, making a request, introducing a petition, etc.; as, Pray, allow me to go s>.

But I have also learned to enjoy the best, most constant of my friends and relish small but really good times.
