As previously announced, hosting the Pre-Telecast are revered rock guitarist Steve Vai and TV personality Giselle Fernandez; presenters for the Pre-Telecast include nominees Jars Of Clay Jars of Clay is a rock band from Franklin, Tennessee. They met at Greenville College in Greenville, Illinois.

Jars of Clay is Dan Haseltine on vocals, Charlie Lowell on piano and keyboards, Stephen Mason on lead guitars and Matthew Odmark on rhythm guitars.
, Shirley Caesar, Nnenna Freelon, Delbert McClinton; and K-Mozart radio personality and conductor/composer John Santana. Pop vocalist Michael Buble will be featured in a performance during the Pre-Telecast as well.
