 TV series reached 10 million units as of May 31.

It has been five years and five months since January 2001 when the company began distributing the first generation of AQUOS.

Currently, the AQUOS series offers a variety of lineups from 13V to 65V inches. In the fall, the company will open a new facility, Kameyama Plan No.2, which will adopt innovative production processes and materials including eight-generation glass substrates (2,160 x 2,400mm), for full-scale operations.

Going forward, Sharp strives to consolidate its presence in the large LCT TV market where rapid growth is expected.
