Sharon Shrock, Bill Coscarelli to Address Questionmark Perception Users.

Learning experts to deliver keynote address at Questionmark 2009 Users Conference

NORWALK, Conn. -- Sharon Shrock and Bill Coscarelli will deliver the keynote address at the Questionmark 2009 Users Conference April 5 - 8 in Memphis, Tennessee.

Shrock and Coscarelli's talk, "Results You Can Rely On: What We've Learned from 25 Years of Criterion-Referenced Measurement," will outline the progress made in testing during the past three decades, explore the past and future impact of CRT on learning professionals and demonstrate how to apply its principles to test authoring. Conference participants will learn to identify technical flaws in item writing, set appropriate passing scores, document legally defensible test development, identify the most useful item analysis statistics, and distinguish between reliability and validity as they apply to criterion-referenced tests.

For the past 25 years, Sharon Shrock and Bill Coscarelli--as Shrock & Coscarelli -- have provided testing, certification, and evaluation solutions for a number of global organizations. Their awarding-winning book, Criterion-Referenced Test Development: Technical and Legal Guidelines for Corporate Training and Certification, now in it its third edition, is a standard corporate reference.

The conference, to be held at the historic Peabody Hotel, will bring Questionmark customers together for three intensive days of learning centered on technical training, customer case studies, technology demonstrations and discussions about best practices for creating and deploying online surveys, quizzes, tests and exams. Participants will network with fellow learning professionals and influence future Questionmark product developments. Information about the conference is available at http://www.questionmark.com/go/conference.
