Sexuality and Psychology of Partners of Men With Erectile Dysfunction in Casablanca, Morocco, Loubna Bouhaouli, Soumia Berrada, Souaad Helzy, Monsef El Mouzdahir, Driss Moussaoui, and Nadia Kadri, University Psychiatric Center Ibnou Rushd, Morocco

We evaluated the impact on sexual life, psychological state, and the relationship on partners of men with erectile dysfunction (ED). Sixty women who accompanied their husbands in urology consultation at University Hospital Ibn Rushd of Casablanca were included to the sample. The tools of the study were a questionnaire, established by the authors collecting details on demography, income, and habits. The sexuality and its dysfunction had been explored with 15 items. ), and the Locke-Wallace Marital Adjustment test (LWMAT). Concerning sexual activity, 50% of partners with ED were unsatisfied; however, they thought their partners were unsatisfied in 80% of the cases. All the women had not had another partner, and 15% had masturbated.
