The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention The Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (or OJJDP) is an office of the United States Department of Justice and a component of the Office of Justice Programs.  (OJJDP OJJDP Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (federal agency) ) presents Statutory Rape Known to Law Enforcement. This bulletin draws on data from the FBI's National Incident-Based Reporting System to provide a comprehensive look at patterns of and responses to incidents of statutory rape. Based on an analysis of reports from law enforcement agencies A law enforcement agency (LEA) is a term used to describe any agency which enforces the law. This may be a local or state police, federal agencies such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) or the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA).  in 21 states for the years 1996 through 2000, this report characterizes victim and offender attributes and law enforcement's responses to these occurrences.
