Several Exciting Events to Be Featured at Abilities Expo/Texas to Be Held in San Antonio January 26-28, 2007.Saturday, January 27(th) is Kids Day NEW YORK New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. Gonzalez Convention Center The Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center is located in downtown San Antonio along the banks of the San Antonio River Walk. The facility is the central component of the city’s successful convention industry. The center, named for the late US congressman Henry B. in San Antonio will host the Abilities Expo/Texas, the one show dedicated to educating and improving the lives of people with disabilities, senior citizens, their families & caregivers, as well as healthcare and education professionals. The three-day event will take place from Friday, January 26 and continue through Sunday, January 28, 2007. The show for independent and assisted living products and services, will offer several new and exciting feature areas. "We are thrilled to be bringing Abilities Expo to San Antonio and we welcome those who are disabled and their caretakers to join us next weekend to see all of the latest products that are available and hear from dozens of experts," said Veronica Gonnello, Show Manager for Abilities Expo. "There will be many local and national organizations who will be showcasing everything from computers to athletic equipment and mobility products to daily living aids - all conveniently displayed to see, test and compare." Attendees will have the chance to watch performances by The Inflight Dance Company (www.inflightdance.com), a mixed ability dance company that integrates able bodied dancers with wheelchair dancers to create a profound dance presentation. In addition, the San Antonio Parks & Recreation Department in partnership with Blaze Sports will be sponsoring fencing, volleyball, kids games (for 6 year olds), and power soccer demonstrations throughout the show. Saturday, January 27 is Kids Day and Jolly Joeys San Antonio Clown Alley sponsored by Walkaround Entertainment will be at show from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
