Any MTNA-affiliated local may apply. Projects funded include clinics, master classes, seminars, educational workshops to prepare for certification examinations, community outreach projects and projects promoting interaction between local associations and student chapters, area colleges or other musical or arts organizations. Applications and guidelines for the 2005 grant program will be available September 1, 2004. The deadline fro" receiving completed applications will be February 1, 2005. Recipients will be announced at the 2005 MTNA National Conference in Seattle, Washington, in April, and will receive funds no later than May 1. |
