Seven giants with seven blows.Seven direct hits out of seven launches were recorded for BGT's Iris-T guided missile guided missile, self-propelled, unmanned space or air vehicle carrying an explosive warhead. Its path can be adjusted during flight, either by automatic self-contained controls or remote human control. during firing tests against a series of target drones that exploited both aggressive escape manoeuvres and massive flare deployment (to no avail). The firing campaign tested the warhead's explosive propensity and its Insensitive in·sen·si·tive adj. 1. Not physically sensitive; numb. 2. a. Lacking in sensitivity to the feelings or circumstances of others; unfeeling. b. Munition (IM) safety factors--taking 20 mm rounds that were fired into the warhead and motor with no negative reactions. These performance tests illustrated the missile's resistance to numerous infrared decoys and electromagnetic radiation electromagnetic radiation, energy radiated in the form of a wave as a result of the motion of electric charges. A moving charge gives rise to a magnetic field, and if the motion is changing (accelerated), then the magnetic field varies and in turn produces an immunity--earlier ground trials revealed the seeker's resistance to laser jamming as well. A number of functional and load tests on the Iris-T were also performed.
