Setup Reduction Times

These Stark Zero Point Mounting Kits from Carr Lane Roemheld (Ellisville, MO) are intended to allow fixtures to be built off the machining table. Once fixtures are used, they can be pulled off and retained for later runs, while quickly locating the zero point each time.

Kits contain all required components to create a quick pallet change system. At the heart of the system, a Speedy Module plate is mounted onto the machine table or tooling block.

These module plates clamp onto nipples attached to the bottoms of existing fixture plates. According to Carr Lane Roemheld, attaching nipples to all of your fixtures makes it possible to change pallets in seconds.

Module plates can also be mounted to inspection machines. When this is done, users can transfer parts from machining to inspection while maintaining the same datum points. Several variations on the basic Stark Kits are available, along with add-on components. Circle 205
