It is owned by businessmen Chip Ganassi and Felix Sabates.
The team is based in Concord, North Carolina, which is a suburb of Charlotte. . COMP Cams also uses Okuma machine tools to refine precision machining techniques for the high horsepower needs of competitive motorsports. The lessons Okuma learns from these shops and others translate into improvements in technology for virtually every type of precision machining application.
