Service while you Fly.
Customers can use Service While You Fly, created by HSC founder Mark Ambrose, to arrange a vehicle service while they are travelling. The option can be selected when purchasing valet parking on the BAA Heathrow website. Customers can park their vehicle in any Heathrow car park, where it will be taken by HSC to an authorised dealer for servicing and valeting, before being returned to the original car park in time for the owner's return. The website booking is processed through a system developed by iB Management Solutions in collaboration with Progress Automotive Solutions. Details of the service booking are automatically passed through the HSC's iB key management system. When the keys to the vehicle are handed over, the operator will use iB's Tag&Locate system on an interactive touch screen to register the arrival of the keys and gather real-time information about the service booking.
A tracking tag is generated and attached to the customer's keys, and again scanned by the Tag&Locate system that will alert HSC to collect the car. HSC and BAA staff then use Tag&Locate to scan the keys in and out of the car park to ensure total security and traceability.
