Kennya Johnson of Copiah County, Mississippi Copiah County is a county located in the U.S. state of Mississippi. As of 2000, the population was 28,757. The county seat is Hazlehurst6. It is part of the Jackson, Mississippi Metropolitan Statistical Area. , told WLBT Channel 3 that she begged the man carjacking The criminal taking of a motor vehicle from its driver by force, violence, or intimidation.

The u.s. justice department categorizes the crime of carjacking as a "completed or attempted Robbery of a motor vehicle by a stranger
