Yeates, has joined Sensus as Vice President of its Advanced Metering Infrastructure Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) or Advanced Metering Management (AMM) refers to systems that measure, collect and analyse energy usage, from advanced devices such as electricity meters, gas meters, and/or water meters, through various communication media on request or (AMI) and Electric business unit and that George Uram has been appointed Vice President, Industry and Regulatory Affairs.
Yeates has twenty-four years of global engineering, sales and operations experience. He was previously with Power-One, Inc., a power conversion and power management products company, where he was Chief Executive Officer. His experience also includes more than fifteen years with AT&T/Lucent Technologies in various engineering and sales leadership roles throughout the U.S. and Asia. Yeates holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from Louisiana Technical University.

Sensus also announced that George Uram was appointed to the newly created position of Vice President, Industry and Regulatory Affairs. Uram, who previously served as Vice President of the AMI and Electric business unit, was instrumental in launching Sensus' entry into these markets. He will now focus his extensive experience full time on utility industry issues and regulatory affairs.
