Sensors Magazine Announces Winners of the ``Best of Sensors Expo'' Awards; Recipients Honored Represent Cutting-Edge New Products.

ROSEMONT, Ill. -- Questex Media Group, Inc. today announced the recipients of the Sensors magazine "Best of Sensors Expo" Awards, honoring the most exciting new products on display at Sensors Expo & Conference, taking place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center The Donald E. Stephens Convention Center is a convention center for Rosemont, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago. Built in 1975, the center has exhibition space of 840,000 sq ft (0 m).  in Rosemont, Ill.

The editors of Sensors presented gold, silver, bronze, and honorable mention awards to 14 exhibitors in eight categories: Sensors, Sensor Components, Peripherals & Interfaces, Special Materials, Data Acquisition Products, Communications & Networking Products, Control Products, and Technologies. Exhibitors submitted new product nominations, and entries were judged on the basis of potential impact, application, distinctiveness, timeliness, and availability.

This year's panel of judges Panel of Judges is an indie pop band from Melbourne, Australia. Members
  • Dion Nania (Golden Lifestyle Band) - guitar
  • Alison Bolger (Clag, Sleepy Township) - bass
  • Paul Williams (Molasses, Jaguar Is Jaguar) - drums
