Sensormatic Unveils Seven New High-Tech Security Installations in Argentina; New Products Drive Growth Outside Traditional Retail Applications.

These contracts continue the Company's strong growth into non-retail markets. Sensormatic attributes this business growth to its record year of new product introductions including its smart digital recorders and advanced video surveillance and access control systems.

Sensormatic has also just completed the installation of an electronic security system at Velez Sarsfield Athletic Club soccer stadium. This system, as well, consists of DeltaDome cameras and Intellex systems and will also be monitored by Federal Police headquarters.

In the nation's prison system, Sensormatic will be installing a comprehensive electronic security system in the largest prison in Argentina. The system will consist of a CCURE CCURE Computer Coordinated Universal Retrieval Entry (R) 800 alarm and access control system integrated with state-of-the-art biometrics technologies. This CCURE 800 will then be integrated with the video surveillance system that will consist of Intellex and over 250 fixed and programmable DeltaDome cameras via fiber optic transmissions. In addition, Sensormatic will be upgrading the video surveillance systems in 10 other prisons in the Province of Buenos Aires Buenos Aires (bwā`nəs ī`rēz, âr`ēz, Span. bwā`nōs ī`rās), city and federal district (1991 pop. .

Sensormatic has also been awarded contracts for Argentina's newest floating casino on the waters of Rio del la Plata La Plata (lä plä`tä), city (1991 pop. 640,344), capital of Buenos Aires prov., E central Argentina, 5 mi (8.1 km) inland from Ensenada, its port on the Río de la Plata.  in Buenos Aires and the largest casino in Latin America Latin America, the Spanish-speaking, Portuguese-speaking, and French-speaking countries (except Canada) of North America, South America, Central America, and the West Indies.  located in the city of Tigre. The installation in the floating casino will consist of more than 200 fixed cameras and programmable DeltaDome cameras along with a CCURE 750 access control system and Intellex. The security system in Latin America's largest casino will encompass a CCURE 800 access control system, Intellex and more than 160 DeltaDome cameras, 60 fixed cameras and an AD2050 matrix switcher. Sensormatic's electronic security systems now protect the majority of the casinos operating in Argentina, including Casino Central de Mar del Plata Mar del Plata (mär thĕl plä`tä), city (1991 pop. 519,707), E central Argentina, on the Atlantic Ocean.
