SenseNet succeeds in producing the largest live concert event in Internet history.

, has proven to be a fierce competitor in the Internet/World Wide Web industry. The project, "Live @nd In Concert(TM)"-inconcert.com was the largest live concert broadcast ever on the World Wide Web. The show commenced at 7:07 p.m. eastern standard time, and accommodated well over 2,400 continuous audio streams for the event via Real Audio.

The traffic was tremendous. SenseNet received phone calls from some major telecommunications companies during the show to inquire why the East Coast lines were completely jammed with traffic. Consistently throughout the event, the Sun computers were transferring an average of 4 million bits of information per second, and logging an estimated 16,000 unique URL's. Full confirmed statistics will be released next week. "Live @nd In Concert" was also the largest event Real Audio has ever done.

There were some problems with the video, the foremost being that the signals simply could not pass through the overwhelming traffic the site received. Also, many user's who use on-line services for their Internet access - as opposed to direct internet connections - had problems maintaining the signal.
