The National Investment Center for Seniors Housing and Care, which posts loan performance data on its Web site, reports that about 99 percent of loans in the seniors housing and long term care industry arc performing. Performing loans are defined as those not in payment default, although the category may include loans not in compliance with non-payment non-payment
