Senior adult community rising in East Brunswick.

Construction is progressing at Waterford at East Brunswick, an elegant condominium community for adults 55-years-old and older. The steel is up, framing is near completion and the roof is being added. By the end of the summer, the building will be fully enclosed, according to Sam Gershwin, president of Westminster Communities.

Waterford at East Brunswick is being developed by Westminster Communities. Since marketing began in May, the 148-unit custom-designed complex has attracted area homeowners looking to downsize, while staying close to family and retaining an upscale lifestyle.

"Most of the people who come to inquire about these luxury condominium units live within 15 miles of East Brunswick, are in their 60s and 70s and are looking for an active adult lifestyle," noted Gershwin. "Visitors are impressed with how spacious the homes are and the services we offer. They are also pleased that the community provides landscaping and snow removal. But most important--they can be near their children, grandchildren and friends--that is key for this generation of active adults."

Waterford at East Brunswick will feature spacious one- and two-bedroom, elevator-accessible condominiums in a single convenient building, with a variety of on-site amenities. It is expected to be ready for occupancy in late spring 2005.
