Senior Care Group acquired The Inn at Lakeshore Villas, a 156-bed assisted living facility and Lakeshore Villas Health Care Center, a 179-bed skilled nursing facility

An establishment that houses chronically ill, usually elderly patients, and provides long-term nursing care, rehabilitation, and other services. Also called long-term care facility, nursing home.

The two facilities, located in Tampa, Florida, had been family-owned and operated. since 1970. Senior Care is a Cumming, Georgia-based not-for-profit that operates four other facilities specializing in memory loss.

The $36 million bond transaction was partially funded with tax-exempt bonds.
