Sendo sues Orange over Smartphone patent infringement. (Wireless News Review).

UK mobile phone manufacturer Sendo Ltd has launched legal proceedings All actions that are authorized or sanctioned by law and instituted in a court or a tribunal for the acquisition of rights or the enforcement of remedies.  in the UK against Orange SA, the mobile unit of France Telecom SA, accusing the mobile operator of patent infringement.

 against Sendo, accusing the handset maker of failing to meet contractual obligations leading to the scrapping of the Z100 project. Now Sendo has launched legal proceedings in London's High Court of Justice accusing the Orange SPV phone of infringing its patents on circuit board design.

In a statement, Sendo's CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Hugh Brogan commented: ""Sendo has created intellectual property rights within the smartphone and mobile phone area. We have been advised by our patent agents, that the Orange SPV phone infringes these rights. We have tried to solve the matter in an amicable way. However, we are now in a position that we have to take legal steps."

Orange denied any impropriety and said it had contacted the parties involved in the design of the phone.
