) regulators -- one positive and one negative -- and two highly efficient synchronous, voltage-mode, buck switching regulators. The SC2453's input voltage can range from 4.5V to 30V, thus encompassing 5V, 12V, and 24V power supply buses, or any bus within the 4.5V to 30V range. Significantly, the SC2453's output can go as low as 0.5V and supply up to 20A through external MOSFETs.

Other important features and benefits of the SC2453 include a programmable switching frequency of up to 700 kHz. The high frequency reduces the size and number of required capacitors and inductors.
