Semicoa Unveils 20 New NPN and PNP Silicon Switching Transistors with Four-Independent Chip Arrays.

COSTA MESA, Calif. -- Semicoa receives DSCC DSCC Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee
DSCC Defense Supply Center Columbus (US DoD)
DSCC Dyersburg State Community College (Dyersburg, TN)
 Qualification to MIL-PRF-19500/558 and MIL-PRF-19500/559.

Semicoa announces their 2N6987, 2N6988, 2N6989 and 2N6990 family of silicon switching transistors manufactured in compliance to the Defense Supply Center, Columbus The Defense Supply Center, Columbus, also called DSCC, is one of three Inventory Control Points of the Defense Logistics Agency. The base has been affected several times by the United States Base Realignment and Closure program.  QPL qualifications including JAN, JANTX JANTX Joint Army-Navy Technical Exchange , JANTXV and JANS JANS Joint Army Navy Space  quality levels. Semicoa offers this family of transistors in two package types: 14-Lead Ceramic Dual Inline Package and 14-Lead Ceramic Flat Pack.

"Combining four 2N2222A or four 2N2907A transistor dies into a 'quad' chip array within a single package saves design engineers valuable printed circuit board real estate. System reliability can be boosted by an order of magnitude A change in quantity or volume as measured by the decimal point. For example, from tens to hundreds is one order of magnitude. Tens to thousands is two orders of magnitude; tens to millions is three orders of magnitude, etc.  using these quad chip arrays," said Bernd Tabbert, Semicoa director of engineering.
