 (peroxide cured) and butyl rubber butyl rubber: see rubber. . The release is said to provide a durable, colorless, dry film coating with no transfer to the molded part. It is said to have proven to replace solvent-based release products. Custom usage has shown a reduction in rejected parts, improved surface appearance, and superior robber flow without producing knit lines and mold buildup, according to the manufacturer. Being a water-based coating, it is odor-free, providing a safe workplace for operators. It is said to be an excellent release product for seals, gaskets and o-rings, as well as complex mold designs and undercuts. Sample quantifies are available for testing.
