"For 520 West Chelsea, it was our goal to commit to modern architecture and functional, well-proportioned space through clarity of distribution, deliberate rendering of light, elegant proportions, and integrity of the structure, while designing the homes with a buyer in mind." 520 West Chelsea's vibrant neighborhood is the epicenter ep·i·cen·ter n. 1. Selldorf Architects, therefore, was the appropriate choice to be the building's designer, as the firm's project list includes numerous galleries--among them, Neue Galerie Neue Galerie [Ger.,=New Gallery], museum in New York City, specializing in early 20th-century fine and decorative art from Germany and Austria; est. 2001. One of the relatively small museum's two galleries is devoted to Austrian work, e.g. New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. The earliest recorded architects include Imhotep (c. , 520 West Chelsea will blend the best of clean, modern design and livability. Having designed both the exterior and the interior of the building, Selldorf Architects has provided a total vision for this project. Developed by Bishopscourt Realty, 520 West Chelsea will offer 26 two-, three- and five-bedroom homes in the 11-story boutique condominium. With no more than three units per floor, the homes will allow for optimum space and privacy. Residences will range in size from 1,460 to 4,232 s/f and be priced from approximately $1.8 million to more than $9 million per unit. Sales began in October 2006. |
