Self-bonding silicone rubber features enhancements and additions.

In its continuing plan to introduce quality, innovative products to the silicone rubber market, this company now offers new additions and enhancements to its current line of customized, self-bonding silicone high consistency rubber (HCR HCR High Commissioner for Refugees (UN)

The first new addition is a series of conductive compounds that are self-bonding to various substrates, including metals, plastics and polymers. These conductive compounds can be customized to specifications, substrates and processes to achieve the optimum bond strength and durability for an application, according to the company.

The second new addition is the ability to bond to low surface energy substrates, such as PEEK, Radel, Udel and polycarbonates. These substrates are in addition to metals, rubber and plastics that formed the foundation of the SCB ScB

 System of self-bonding compounds.

Lastly, a new feature of the two-component SCB self-bonding compounds is that these compounds can now have a shelf life that is comparable to similar two-component liquid silicone rubbers (LSR 1. (networking) LSR - Label Switching Router.
2. (operating system) LSR - Local Shared Resources.
). The two-component HCR compound can be stored up to its shelf life expiration date Expiration Date

The day on which an options or futures contract is no longer valid and, therefore, ceases to exist.

with no loss of bond strength or durability, according to the manufacturer.

As with all of the SCB self-bonding compounds, a post-cure is not required, and the self-bonding compounds are said to eliminate the need for prime coating. Technical information and data sheets on the self-bonding compounds are available from the company.
