Group Designed to Combine Funding Needs of School Youth Groups

with Student Commitment to Volunteerism

Touch Your World, Inc.(TM) is the name of a new non-profit organization A non-profit organization (abbreviated "NPO", also "non-profit" or "not-for-profit") is a legally constituted organization whose primary objective is to support or to actively engage in activities of public or private interest without any commercial or monetary profit purposes.  based in Seminole County, Florida Seminole County is a county located in the U.S. state of Florida and part of the Orlando-Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). It is located in the central part of Florida between Orlando to the south and DeLand/Daytona Beach to the north. . Touch Your World, founded by David Melnik, president and chief executive officer of Lake Mary, Florida-based Kinetics, Inc., will develop a unique niche in the world of non-profit groups: to help fund public school service programs and sports teams that require additional funding - exchange for participation in local community service initiatives by the students who benefit from this new funding resource.

Touch Your World is a brand new agency organized as a non-lobbying, non-profit organization under the guidelines of Section 501(c)(3) of the federal tax code. Touch Your World will fill two different, but complementary, ongoing needs in our local community. Touch Your World will work with local corporations and individuals to provide a new base of funding for school-based programs for youth that otherwise might go unfunded. In exchange for that new funding, the youth who benefit from the funding will be asked to perform a pre-determined number of hours of uncompensated uncompensated (n·kômˑ·p  community services for local charities that are in need of volunteers to assist with various projects.

"Touch Your World was founded upon the principle that local businesses should be involved in the advancement of their communities by investing in youth-based initiatives," Melnik said. May 15th: First Annual Corporate Volleyball Challenge Kickoff

As an official kickoff for the organization, Touch Your World will host the First Annual TYW TYW Thirty Years War

 Corporate Volleyball Challenge, the first of its kind in Seminole County, on Saturday, May 15, at Oval Park on International Parkway in the Lake Mary/Heathrow area of Seminole County.

The event has already drawn substantial sponsorship interest by Orlando's hometown low-fare carrier AirTran Airways AirTran Airways is a low-cost airline that is a Delaware corporation with headquarters in Orlando, Florida, USA and is a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings. AirTran operates over 750 daily flights throughout the eastern USA and the Midwest, including over 270 daily departures from ; Wachovia Corporation, the fourth largest banking organization in the United States based on assets; and Colonial Properties Trust.

The TYW Corporate Volleyball Challenge will be modeled after the popular March of Dimes

March of Dimes is the name of a United States health charity, whose mission is to improve the health of babies.
(R) Volleyball Tournament(TM) held each year in south Orange County, Florida Orange County is a county located in the U.S. state of Florida and is part of the Orlando-Kissimmee Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA). As of 2006 Census Bureau estimates, the population is 1,043,500. [1] The county seat is Orlando.  - only without the mud! The Touch Your World event involves competition between six-player, co-ed grass games, with morning "pool play" that progresses into single-elimination playoffs in the afternoon. Music, food and drinks will highlight the day, in addition to a children's play area.

Although the day will be focused on fun and recreation, teams are encouraged to be creative with team names and uniforms. "This should be an exceptional community event and a fun day of corporate team building, all combined into one event," said Steve Bishop, the executive director of Touch Your World. "We'll have licensed massage therapists and trainers lined up to make sure every participant experiences a fun - and safe - day. More importantly, companies will be able to meet each other and compete for bragging rights, all the while giving something back to their community."
