Rose Associates, Inc, acting as agent for the owner, has completed a lease for LensCrafters LensCrafters is North America's largest retailer of prescription eyewear, as well as non-prescription sunglasses. LensCrafters was founded in 1983 and has subsequently expanded to over 850 stores in Canada, the United States, and Puerto Rico.  Optique at the mixed-use mixed-use

 retailer signed a 10-year lease for 850 square feet.

Bruce Bruce, Scottish royal family descended from an 11th-century Norman duke, Robert de Brus. He aided William I in his conquest of England (1066) and was given lands in England.  Spiegel, senior managing director of commercial leasing for Rose Associates, represented building owner Rose Associates in the transaction.

LensCrafters Optique was represented by DiMucci Partners.

"LensCrafters Optique is a great addition to the area," said Spiegel. "The eyewear retailer is looking to cater to the area's youthful demographic."

LensCrafters Optique joins Benneton, Sisley, Athletes' Foot and The Body Shop at Georgetown Plaza.

LensCrafters is a division of Luxottica S.p.A, the largest eyewear retailer in the world. The new store, which opened in August, offers a more express concept featuring eyewear for fashion-conscious shoppers.

Earlier this year, Rose Associates signed LensCrafters Optique to 1,250 square feet at The Capitol Capitol, seat of the U.S. Congress
