See Where You Stand with QuestionPro Spotlight Report(TM); Powerful New Feature Increases Response Rates, Improves Insights for Survey Participants.

SEATTLE -- QuestionPro, a leader in online survey hosting and delivery since 2002, announced Spotlight Report(TM) a new enhancement to its online survey tool. The Spotlight Report enables participants in multi-question surveys to see how their answer on each question compares to the aggregated responses of all other survey respondents In the context of marketing research, a representative sample drawn from a larger population of people from whom information is collected and used to develop or confirm marketing strategy. . QuestionPro is the only survey tool on the market with this feature.

While many consumer-focused "quick polls" include the ability to display how a respondent's answer compares to the group answer, traditionally this has been for one- or two- question polls, where it's likely that the participant would easily remember their answer anyway.

But today's technology, made easier by services like QuestionPro, has increased the number, frequency and complexity of surveys. As a result, most surveys have multiple, sometimes dozens, of questions, making it nearly impossible for respondents to remember how they answered on a particular question. Spotlight Reports change this dynamic. At the end of a survey, a participant can see the aggregate answers to each question, along with how he or she answered.

This allows respondents to instantly "see where they stand" relative to other participants, giving them valuable insights.

"Today's survey takers are sophisticated and realize the real value of a survey lies only partially in the aggregated response," said Vivek Bhaskaran, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  and co-founder of QuestionPro. "What's really important to a person or a company is how their individual answers stack up against the group's answers. Only then can truly meaningful insight be gleaned."

One of the first users of Spotlight Report is eTownPanel. eTownPanel is a university-based, nonprofit A corporation or an association that conducts business for the benefit of the general public without shareholders and without a profit motive.

When eTownPanel asked respondents in a pilot test what they thought about Spotlight Report, nearly all of them said that it was an "excellent" (56%) or "good" (41%) idea, and nearly three-quarters said that they would be "much more likely" (51%) or "somewhat more likely" (21%) to respond to our online surveys because of Spotlight Report. As a result, eTownPanel plans to use Spotlight Report for most of its eTownPanel online community surveys as a way to motivate the panel and encourage higher cooperation rates.
