Security National Acquires Arkansas Insurance Company.


SALT LAKE CITY -- Security National Financial Corp. (Nasdaq: SNFCA) announced today the firm has acquired Memorial Insurance Co. of America, located in Blytheville, Ark. The announcement was made by Scott M. Quist, SNFC SNFC Sunday Night Film Club

 president. Terms of the acquisition were not announced, but Memorial Insurance has $43 million in assets and has been in business for 50 years. The company will continue to operate the office in Blytheville. Quist said this acquisition makes a total of 25 offices in 12 states operated by Security National.

The mortgage loan segment is an approved governmental and conventional lender that originates and underwrites residential and commercial loans for new construction, existing homes and real estate projects primarily in the Intermountain West.
