) today reported financial results for the second quarter of 1997 and the six months ended June 30, 1997. Revenue for the second quarter increased 70% to $29.7 million, from $17.4 million for the second quarter of 1996. Net income for the quarter was $5.5 million or $0.15 per share, compared to $2.9 million or $0.08 per share for the same period last year. The average number of common equivalent shares outstanding for the second quarters of 1997 and 1996 were 36.7 million and 36.6 million, respectively.

Revenue for the six months ended June 30, 1997 was $56.1 million, a 74% increase over revenue of $32.3 million reported in the same period last year. Net income increased 103% to $10.2 million, or $0.28 per share, compared to $5.1 million, or $0.14 per share, in the first half of 1996. The average number of common equivalent shares outstanding for the first six months of 1997 and 1996 were 36.6 million and 36.4 million, respectively.
