BERLIN & NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 22, 2003

Security Biometrics Inc. SBT (OTCBB: SBTI), a leader in biometric signature authentication solutions powered by Penflow(TM) announced today that it has been granted permission to trade its shares on the Third Market Segment of the Berlin Stock Exchange. The German trading symbol will be "SBB.BE" and the German securities code: (WKN) will be 728819.

In related news, we are pleased to announce the appointment of William Moore, as Chief Financial Officer, replacing Wayne Taylor who has taken a position on the board of directors. Mr. Moore began his career at Price Waterhouse before moving to Accenture where he spent seven years and was made a senior manager. He subsequently joined investment bank DLJ as an equity research analyst until their take-over by CSFB when William was headhunted by Morgan Stanley to join the technology equity research team focusing on small and mid-cap stocks.
