Secured Services Announces that Chameleon Technology has Signed a New Contract with Kitsap Public Utilities District.

NEW YORK & SEATTLE -- Kitsap County Residents and Businesses to Benefit from Secure Open Access Broadband Wireless Network

Secured Services Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: SSVC) and Chameleon Technology today announced that the Kitsap Public Utility District (KPUD) has contracted to deploy Chameleon's Secure Network Operating Platform as the cornerstone of the KPUD's build-out of a secure, open access wireless broadband network. Chameleon recently signed a binding Letter of Intent to be acquired by Secured Services.

Kitsap County residents demand leading-edge broadband services, which they recognize as a driver for regional economic growth. The KPUD's County-wide fiber backbone will, thanks to Chameleon's technology, be extended through wireless broadband technology. This will enable the KPUD to cover major metropolitan areas without incurring the high cost of running cable.

The KPUD selected Chameleon's wireless solution because it provides the only fully integrated suite of applications that seamlessly manage their new broadband service. Key functionality that the KPUD sought included automated subscriber provisioning, subscriber authentication, mobile session persistence, session privacy and bandwidth management. "While the Kitsap PUD will build and own the fiber and wireless network, Chameleon's technology enables us to operate it as an open access broadband service, in which multiple providers can resell wireless bandwidth with services tailored to businesses and individuals.
